Performance coaching

You wouldn't hope
an investment goes well.

So why is that the plan for you?

I'm Alex. I spent years as a private equity investor. Now I coach the people in and around that role: high performers who want the success that goes with it, without such a high cost to pay.

Everything stays between us. Always.

The work

Energy. Time. Belief.

10 sessions. Every two weeks. We work on your energy, your time, and the beliefs that are quietly costing both.
Sessions are tailored to what you need, typically going deep in these three areas.

Energy

We look at core foundations first: sleep, routines and self-regulation. We strengthen these to support you when the pressure builds. Calmer within weeks, more energised for work and life.

Time

Next we look at your diary. We work out what should be in and out. We work out what extra support you need: EA, juniors, at home. We protect space for the work your financial success actually depends on.

Belief

We do some inner work. 11pm rumination, the waiting to be found out, the high standards that are sapping your joy. This is where capacity gets built.

Who I am

I used to do your job.
I know what it can cost.

I spent years in private equity before I trained as a coach. I know the pressure, the late nights, the multi-tasking. I know what works and what doesn't. I'm not translating your world from the outside. I was there for years.

Almost everyone I work with looks like this: high-performing, hard-working, trusted. They self-selected at each stage towards a more ambitious path. Yet now they quietly wonder why it feels so relentless. Questioning whether they're good enough, whether it's worth it, whether they can last. They're not failing. Not even close.

What I bring is the full toolkit: coaching, CBT and deeper nervous-system work, not just a good conversation. And one rule that doesn't bend: I work for the individual. Everything stays between us.

An honest audit

What you think is helping.

And what it's actually costing.

  • The habit

Giving more and more hours, because that's the lever that has always worked.

    The cost

Slower thinking, and no space for the strategic work that makes a difference.

  • The habit

Doing it yourself, because explaining it takes longer and isn't always right.

    The cost

An underused team, too close to spot the errors, no time to lead or be strategic.

  • The habit

Running on adrenaline and coffee, and increasingly seeing this as what it takes to succeed.

    The cost

Worries that catch up with you at bedtime, a body that's starting to creak, and no space to plan ahead.

  • The habit

Waiting until after the next deal to sort it. Thinking you'll do it yourself.

    The cost

Nothing changing, just time (and missed opportunities) passing by.
